Rebound 016: Disconnecting From Old Ways

A special thanks to Janet from Boston for donating this week!

In this episode, we discuss breaking free of old habits, replacing them with new ones, and the small changes we made last year that had a big overall impact.

Geek Notes: We tried out a new mic in this episode and think it makes the sound quality a little better. The podcast is not studio quality yet, but hey, we’re on a budget. :)

Loved this episode! You mentioned that you buy everything used…I just wanted to let you know that I don’t advise reusing bread..or milk, or any of those other food staples. Great episode! Keep ‘em coming!

Did you know that they have a bread thrift store here? I’m completely serious! LOL But you’re right – buying used food is probably not such a great idea. :)

Enthusiasm is contagious and makes your advice more memorable. Used is where it’s at. I needed some clothes and a local 2nd hand store had a 1/2 price sale. I got 2 pairs of pants and 3 nice shirts for work all look new and were a total of $13. That is less than pants alone would cost at Walmart. It’s kind of a mindset and after you get used to it you don’t want to buy new anymore. Great show.

I found your show when searching itunes for dave ramsey. I enjoy listening to you guys. You always make me laugh. I have tried to download the action plan and obviously don’t know what I am doing. What part do I open once I have downloaded it. Nothing that I have tried to open, opens in excel. Thanks!
